How to use it
Ask the seller for their price and the exact quantity — "per 50kg bag", "per kg", "per crate". Enter both. Agrios tells you whether the quote is below, within or above today's usual range, and by how much. For fresh produce sold by crate, basket or bunch, choose the same measure the market uses: those containers are not a fixed weight, so they can't be converted to kg.

How does the fair price check work?
It compares the price you were quoted with today's typical range for that crop — at the market you choose, or across all markets Agrios tracks. If your quote is in a different unit (for example per kg instead of per 50kg bag) it converts both to a price per kg first.
What does "below the usual range" mean?
The quote is cheaper than the lowest price usually seen today. That can be a good deal, but check the quantity and quality — short-measured bags and mixed grades are common reasons for unusually low prices.
Can I trust the result?
Only as far as the underlying price. Each result shows whether it is compared against observed prices (WFP or community reports) or a modeled estimate, so you know how much weight to give it.
